It was an incredible day of lifting yesterday in Naxxar as Mario Mifsud won his third successive title as king of local Powerlifting. The third edition of the MDFPA National Championships kicked off with the lightweight categories battling it out in the first session of the day.

Mariel Incorvaja from Heay Metal is still unchallenged as Malta's permier female lifter with her final total of 290kgs. Raw Power lifter Daniel Debono (below) once again established himself as Malta's premier 67.5kg lifter with a 457.5kg total, breaking Sean Galeas three-year-old Deadlift record in the process, raising the bar from 200 to 202.5kgs.
In the 75kg class Sean Galea (below) from Team Savage took the top honours with his 500kg total, easing passed Edward Attard and Antonio Flores. Charles Degiorgio out of Fitness Planet lifted a total of 510kgs to take the 82.5kg class, leaving challengers Kurt Bullock, Herman Mula and Chis Schinas with little chance.

Things heated up in the second session which saw the heavyweights step forward for some awesome lifting. As expected, the 90kg category saw some fierce competition between the two favourites Kristian Mintoff (below) from Iron Gladiators and Josef Spiteri from Fitness Planet, leaving newcomer Adrian Cauchi, Jonathan Galea frm Bertu's Gym, and also making his debut Matthew Cini Sarreo to watch from the sidelines. Mintoff took the lead early with some epic squatting, going on to break Matthew Muscat Inglott's National record of 205kgs in his fourth attempt, showing great spirit in conquering 207.5kgs. The next record to fall was the 90kg Bench Press mark of 145kgs also held by Matthew Muscat Inglott. Spiteri broke it with a smooth 147.5kgs, and narrowly missed out on breaking his own record again with a near miss at 150kgs in his third attempt. Mintoff went on to seal his victory with a final total of 572.5kgs.

Lifting solo in their categories, Matthew Muscat Inglott (below), Marvin Cilia and World Champion Mario Mifsud entertained the crowd with some classy performances. Lifting out of Team Savage in the 100kg class, Muscat Inglott started his campaign by breaking his own National Squat record of 212.5kgs, with a convincing 220kg lift. Next came Josef Spiteri's 152.5kg Bench Press record which Muscat Inglott raised to 155kgs thanks to some spirited support from the crowd. He also went on to raise the Deadlift and Total records from 250 and 605kgs to 260 and 635kgs. Marvin Cilia from Challenger in Cottonera took the 110kg honours with a 220kg Squat, 142.5kg press and 232.5kg Deadlift for a total of 595kgs.
World Champion in the 125kg class Mario Mifsud from Heavy Metal started his day on a roll, finishing his squats with a National Record fourth attempt of 250kgs, breaking his own previous record by 10kgs. Mifsud pressed a token 180kgs in the bench press before lifting only 5kgs shy of his own World record in the Deadlift, ending the day with a 320kg haul and a new national record total of 750kgs. In posting such massive totals it seems the next goal in the big man's mind might possibly be the World Total record next November in Ireland.

Third overall on points, just about edging passed Sean Galea, was Kristian Mintoff with 338.1 points, jumping to number six on the National Rankings. Matthew Muscat Inglott came in second with 353 points. First overall and once again Malta National Powerlifting Champion Mario Mifsud secured 392.8 points. Here follow the overall results on points;

In my spare time I enjoy browsing the web and reading Bodybuilding blogs. While bodybuilding I try to do the best training possible to make my muscles grow and eating the best quality protein sources and buy steroids at the lowest possible prices. I also ensure I'm using the highest quality anabolic Steroids UK money can buy since my potential for natural growth has plateaued. I'm continually searching for the best web sites to buy steroids from so if you have any suggestions please email them to me. I of course think it's quite important for anabolic steroids using bodybuilders to try and learn as much as they can about using anabolic steroids safely. My anabolic steroid cycling has been quite basic but I still try to help other bodybuilders before they make any online steroids purchasing mistakes. Working out at the gym should of course be exciting and fun most of the time. If it isn't fun then you won't want to spend your bodybuilding and doing your steroids cycles. My own trainer would suggested at least three workouts a week to make the best possible strength gain progress is made with your chosen weightlifting routine. Please make sure you do not abuse anbolic steroids by taking too much anabolic steroids can of course be harmful to your long term health. Personally I like to take my Dianabol tabs with food at breakfast time and then eight hours later with one of my many protein shakes.
